You don't need to prepare anything for internship in Infosys. Even I joined as a inter and i didn't prepare anything. They will give you training and you need to prepare on those things and clear the exam that's it.
It is really good experience, I had lots of challenges and fun make the best use when you are there in Mysore - learn and also have fun.
Infosys doesn't give internships exclusively. Any final year student from computer background who is already placed through campus recruitment will be called to do his/her internship.
As far as I know, no other way is possible.
I have completed Remote internship last year from TCS.
Talking about the perks of internship:
There is no such stipend.
And you'll get exemption from aptitude paper of TCS.
And yes of course a certificate from TCS.
Other than that there is no such perks in working in TCS as remote intern. And yeah after joining ILP program all of the candidates are equal.
Nobody knows exactly. Its a programme in which they say you'd be working with the big shots of Infy. So, naturally, expectations from a candidate will be soaring and the outputs from him/her will be ensured to be at par.
In my opinion, its a great platform for coding enthusiasts and one should not care about the working hours. I mean, come on, you'll be interning under Vishal Sikka and his core team! Its a steal deal in itself, if at all you're able to bag it. Just imbibe whatever you can once you're in.
Best of Luck. (V)
